• The Spark My path to The Origin Desk wasn't born out of casual curiosity; it was a necessity. As an adoptee, traditional records could only take me so far. I turned to DNA testing to find the family I had never known. While my paternal line was unlocked through a fortunate match with a caring cousin, my maternal line required a much deeper investigation. I taught myself to build complex "mirror trees," researching generations of strangers to find the single thread that connected me to my mother. Today, that tree holds more than 3,200 people—a testament to the persistence I bring to every client’s case.

• The Method My approach to research is grounded in three decades of experience as a Technical Writer in the worlds of IT and Finance. I have spent a career translating complex data into clear, accurate information—a skill I now use to document family histories, I treat every ancestor with the precision of a professional analyst and the care of a family member.
